There is a specific version of the Garand that has a built in sight for the grenade launcher (you can see what the sight looks like here) but the adapter works with pretty much every version of the Garand (except maybe variations of the M1D that have a flash hider). The adapter is called the M7, and this particular grenade style is called the M31. The combined price for the inert grenade and the grenade launcher adapter was $150 ($85 for the adapter, $45 for the grenade, $20 for shipping) which I consider to be a steal. I just got this in the mail today, and I’m still doing research on it, so please comment any corrections if I say anything incorrect! So I just searched this subreddit and it looks like there are no posts about the M7 grenade launcher that is used with the Garand, which I thought was a shame!
