I tried playing in a window, lowering the graphics settings, and gave administrator privilage to fallout3.exe and tried running in different compatibility modes. When the game freezes like that, its done. It's really ruining the awesome game experience because I keep losing progress or am in the middle of a big fight and the darn game just FREEZES!!! The sound and music keep playing but the game wont respond even if I let it sit for half an hour. However, every few minutes, the game completely freezes like its trying to load something, but it just sits there frozen for several minutes and I have to kill Fallout3.exe in the task manager and restart the game. The game was GREAT and I really love to play. (TLDR below) I purchased and installed Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition on my computer and started playing.
